Oslo, famed for its seafarers, winter sport and interesting architecture – we will give you a glimpse of it all!

Friday 3 February
Afternoon arrival and Registration at Thon Hotel Opera Reception at City Hall followed by “Tastes of Norway” – an opening evening at Skur 35, Oslo’s International Cruise Terminal. Enjoy an evening with Norwegian tapas dinner, drinks, music entertainment and trade show. Please plan to arrive no later than 15.00 as the programme will begin shortly after that.
Saturday 4 February
This morning our sightseeing will show you the “Best of Oslo”. We will visit the Fram Museum, the Frogner Park with the fabulous statues by Gustav Vigeland and Holmenkollen Ski museum, with Northern Lights experience. We return to our hotel for lunch. In the afternoon we have the IATM, 55th Annual General Meeting. This will be followed by a Harbour Walk with views of the Opera and will take us to the Gala dinner at Engebret Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in Oslo.
Sunday 5 February
Morning lecture will guide us through Oslo architecture followed by lunch in the Opera foyer. The programme will end after lunch. For members joining the post tour with Hurtigruten Cruise, we depart Oslo for afternoon/evening flight to Ålesund and overnight. (Flight and dinner not included).
